Privacy policy

This policy covers mhcpusa.com and the emails we send. We keep it short and specific.

What we collect

What you give us. When you sign up for the newsletter: your email address and phone number (both required) and, if you choose, your first name. We also note which page you signed up from, so the welcome email can point to something useful.
Resident newsletter. If you live in a community MHCP USA manages, we use the email address and community on file with your lease to send the resident edition. See the resident newsletter.
Site analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to count page views, see which guides are useful, and measure clicks on newsletter signups, downloads, and shop links. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology. It doesn’t give us your name or email.

To send the newsletter you asked for, or the resident edition if you’re a resident.
Your phone number is kept with your newsletter subscription. We don’t send text messages, and we don’t sell or share your number for anyone else’s marketing.
The welcome email and some newsletters suggest a product. Those links go to our shop page on mhcpusa.com, where the Amazon link and our affiliate disclosure are.
To improve the guides and the site.
We don’t sell your personal information.

Loops (loops.so) sends our emails and stores the subscriber list, including the email address, phone number, and first name you give us.
Google provides analytics.
Netlify hosts the site and keeps standard server logs.
Amazon. When you click a shop link, you go to Amazon, and Amazon’s privacy policy applies there. Amazon tells us about qualifying purchases in total, not who made them.

We may disclose information if the law requires it.

Unsubscribe with the link at the bottom of any email.
Block analytics with your browser’s privacy settings or an extension. The site works the same without it.
See, change, or delete your data, including your phone number. Email info@mhcpusa.com and we’ll take care of it.

The site is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
